Training in scientific writing and scientific presentations, using the English language, with the purpose of preparing graduate students for their future activities as independent researchers.

 

 

PROGRAMA

a) Disclosure and propagation of scientific knowledge

b) What is a scientific paper

c) Title, authors and abstract

d) How to write the introduction

e) How to write the material and methods section

f) How to present the results: text tables and figures

g) How to discuss the results

h) How to submit and revise the paper and to respond to the reviewers criticism.

i) How to prepare and perform an oral presentation

j) How to prepare a poster

k) English as the universal language of science

l) Individual practical tasks: writing and presenting a scientific work.
